Corrales Winery is located in the Village of Corrales, minutes North of Albuquerque along the legendary Rio Grande. Corrales is situated on the historic Alameda Land Grant issued to Francisco Vigil in 1710, following the Spanish re-conquest of the New Mexico Territory after the Pueblo Revolt of 1681.

These historic lands were hunted and farmed by the Anasazi, Pueblo Indians, and Spanish and French settlers for well over 1300 years. They lie in the heart of the oldest wine growing region in North America.

Driving through Corrales, it's easy to envision the valley full of vineyards as it was more than a hundred years ago. Resurrecting the grape growing and wine making heritage of Corrales has been the abiding inspiration for Barbara and me. The history and romance of it all has captured our imaginations.
